I am a Writer!

Today marks the first day I have said out loud to someone that “I am a Writer” and I want to share my experience with you. I hope you don’t mind!

I went to the opticians today with trepidation because, ultimately, I know my eyesight has deteriorated with age. I’m not gonna lie to you, it was emotional. Whilst I didn’t blubber (thankfully) I felt my eyes filling up.

We moved on fairly quickly after that and I went on to stress the importance of being able to see small type because I am a student, I read a lot and that I am a Writer!

So that’s how it happened and now I just want to shout it from the rooftops!
