Surprise! A New Mini Project!

Yes, you read that correctly, I have a new mini project on the go!

Actually, it’s been on the go since the beginning of the year. Inspiration came whilst I was completing Beth Kempton’s ‘Winter Writing Sanctuary’. And then more inspiration came from Laura Pashby’s ‘Little Stories of Your Life: Find your voice, share your world and tell your story’ (which was, incidently, one of the books recommended by Beth). A heartfelt thanks to both of them ❤️ I’m sure I never would have started this without the amazing insights into their worlds.

At this point I can’t go into too much detail (sorry, I really am) but I will tell you a little secret. In fact, you are the first to know! Are you ready?

I have finished writing it 😃

Next comes, yes, you guessed it, the editing part. I confess, I do love editing. I’m hoping it won’t take too long so I can then research possible avenues for pitching my idea. And if that doesn’t bear any fruit I will look at the self-publishing route. I’m determined to get this little piece of treasure out there.

In other news, I am still in the middle of writing my larger project. Just finished writing Chapter 14, hope to start writing Chapter 15 in a couple of weeks and I’m still reading lots of inspirational works (prose and poetry).
