I’d been looking for some form of Art for our newly decorated kitchen/diner for some time and wasn’t one hundred percent sure of what I wanted.
What I did know was that I wanted something with a bit of colour, not too garish … something more … complimentary.
I came across these Richard Macneil pieces in one of our local Art shops and instantly fell in love with them so I would like to share with you a little bit about this very talented gentleman.
Richard Macneil is a British artist born in Worcester in 1958 and always been involved in the creative arts. He began working at Worcester Royal Porcelain and then spent many years in the USA. This culminated in the greatest achievement of his life – his artwork being displayed in the Oval office of The White House.
Since returning to the UK he has freelanced as an artist and card designer then in 2009, with the help of his family, set up The Macneil Studio which can be found online at https://www.themacneilstudio.com
